Middleton Parish Council – November Report; Middleton Remembers, Street Lighting, Bus Service Worries, Former Chairman Resigns

Following the Remembrance Service and the dedication of the Middleton Memorial centre stone, the Parish Council met on Monday 12th November. At a shorter meeting than usual, History Researcher Lucy Godfrey gave a report on her work into those connected with the Middleton who had fallen in World War One, and the next stages of the project.

Middleton Parish Council – October Report; Middleton Remembers, Council changes, Millennium Garden Gates, Neighbourhood Plan and more

October has been a month of change for the Parish Council. Cllr Dawn Greatorex has stood down as Chair but remains as a member of the Council. Cllr John Sedgwick and Cllr Rob Rawlinson have resigned from the Council. The Council thanks them both for their work on behalf of the parish.

Parish Council – September Report; Middleton Remembers, Casual Vacancy, Seating

There was less of the "back to school" feeling than usual to the September Parish Council meeting because a meeting had been held in August and work on the Middleton Remembers Project was on-going over the summer.
