Work has been completed to trees at the Millennium Garden and the Village Green.
Cllr Irene Ratcliffe has raised the Parish Council's concerns with DCC Rights of Way and Minerals Officers about the steep gradient of the Dene Quarry Footpath restoration. The Parish Council was advised that Tarmac has been instructed to return the path to a more gradual gradient.

The November meeting had a busy agenda with almost a dozen matters for decision and two planning consultations.
Work has been approved to the trees at the Millennium Garden and the Village Green.

Streetscene issues were very much to the fore at the Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 20th February 2020.
Since the January meeting CCllr Irene Ratcliffe has met with DCC Officers to discuss streetscene and highways issues, including the request to have the Middleton Road switched off streetlights returned to service, white-lining and ways to reduce inconsiderate parking in the village.

Parish Council July Meeting Report; Dedication of the Middleton Memorial, Middleton in Bloom judging, Grant Award, White Lines, Speed Data, Public Participation Review
The last meeting before the summer break took place on Monday 8th July 2019 in the Committee Room of the Village Hall.
