From April 2021 the District Council are going to be charging extra to collect domestic garden waste. The full price will be £50 per year.
To encourage take-up of the scheme DDDC is offering a discount of £15 to those who sign up early. Full details can be found here.

Despite previous coverage in the Village Pump, the Parish Council still regularly receives concerns from members of the public about inconsiderate, potentially dangerous parking and the numbers of vehicles being driven inappropriately through the village.

Concerns have been raised with the Parish Council that the 6.1 bus service has not been restored to Middleton. We have contacted Trent Barton Customer Services but they could not advise us as to when the service will be restored.

Over the last 20 years the Middleton Village Green has been funded by Charity Plant Sales and kind donations. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the Charity Plant Sales has not operated and as a result the Village Green Committee are inviting donations or sponsorship
