Work has been approved to the trees at the Millennium Garden and the Village Green.

Initial discussions have taken place between the Parish Council and the District Council to examine the options for the use of Community Payback and the provision of play equipment at the Playing Field. We hope to have more on this early in the New Year.

A grant of £283 was approved towards the printing costs of the Village Pump.

The Parish Council has supported plans by DDDC to install name plates for The Alley and Hillside

With the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions impacting traditional community Christmas events the Parish Council is encouraging people to light up Middleton with Christmas lights and window displays

Following concerns about the steep gradients in the restoration of the Dene Quarry footpath, and in particular the gradients, the issue is being taken up with Tarmac, and DCC Footpaths Officers.
