Speedwatch - volunteers needed

Derbyshire Police advise that Speedwatch training has resumed; part one is online and part two at roadside. The Parish Council has been told that six volunteers are required to make the sessions viable but it's better if there are more.

Derbyshire Dales District Council Early Bird Discount for New Garden Waste Scheme

From April 2021 the District Council are going to be charging extra to collect domestic garden waste. The full price will be £50 per year.

To encourage take-up of the scheme DDDC is offering a discount of £15 to those who sign up early. Full details can be found here.

Drive Appropriately, Park Considerately

Despite previous coverage in the Village Pump, the Parish Council still regularly receives concerns from members of the public about inconsiderate, potentially dangerous parking and the numbers of vehicles being driven inappropriately through the village.

No Date for Trent Barton 6.1 Bus Return

Concerns have been raised with the Parish Council that the 6.1 bus service has not been restored to Middleton. We have contacted Trent Barton Customer Services but they could not advise us as to when the service will be restored.
