Middleton Parish Council – October Report; Middleton Remembers, Council changes, Millennium Garden Gates, Neighbourhood Plan and more

October has been a month of change for the Parish Council. Cllr Dawn Greatorex has stood down as Chair but remains as a member of the Council. Cllr John Sedgwick and Cllr Rob Rawlinson have resigned from the Council. The Council thanks them both for their work on behalf of the parish.

Road Closure: Main Street Sunday 11 November 2018 Remembrance Day Parade

Main Street Middleton by Wirksworth at the junction of Duke Street to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust Offices Sunday 11th November 2018 from 2.15pm to 3.30pm

Notice of vacancy in the office of Parish Councillor

Middleton Memorial Location Consultation

Residents urged to have their say on future of bin collections

Derbyshire Dales residents are being urged to have their say on possible changes to their waste and recycling collections before a public consultation closes on 23 September.

The District Council, which organises collections across 34,000 Dales households, has started the process of shaping the future collection service ahead of the current contract with Serco ending in August 2020.
